Harumaki(春巻)-Stir-fried vegetables and rice noodles in wrapper, deep-fried in soybean oil. 6 pieces.                            $5.00

Gyoza（餃子）-Minced pork mixed with chopped nappa cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, and other spices; wrapped in a wheat thin, sautéed, then pan-fried. 6 pieces.                  $6.00

Donburi Dinners

“Donburi” means ‘bowl’ and ‘over rice.’

All donburi dinners are served with miso soup, four pieces of harumaki, and pickled cabbage salad.

Chicken Don（照り焼き丼）Chicken breast marinated in a special house sauce, broiled, served over rice and served with teriyaki sauce. $14.00

Oyako Don（親子丼）Tender pieces of chicken, sweet onions, carrots, and green onions, cooked in a special house sauce, served over rice and topped with an egg poured over all. $15.00

Katsu Don（かつ丼）Breaded Carlton’s pork cutlet cooked in a special house sauce, served over rice and topped with an egg poured over all. $16.00

Vegetable Ten Don（天麩羅野菜丼）Fresh seasonal and regular vegetables, lightly battered and fried in soybean oil, served over rice and topped with tempura sauce. $17.00

Shrimp & Veg Ten Don （海老天丼）Two large shrimp, plus fresh seasonal vegetables, lightly battered and fried in soybean oil, served over rice and topped with tempura sauce. $19.00

All meals are served with rice, miso soup, and a small pickled cabbage salad, except Yakiudon, which is served without rice because there are noodles instead.

An 18% gratuity may be added for parties of 6 or more.

 

Kame means “turtle” in Japanese and to many children in Japan, it has been a kind, honorable and gentle friend through many folk tales.
